Reader review

June 21st 2025

I completed reading your book Sold Out. Kudos to you for bringing this to the world - you should be proud. Your narration did take me back to my own experiences supporting health, and conflict mediation and mitigation programmes in the rural and urban South East and South South Regions.

I particularly enjoyed the inclusion of the food recipes and proverbial Maggi, and the essence of your food culture, which I recognise from a time when we travelled and shared food with Nigerian friends and colleagues.

I found the act of offering Kola nuts and sharing food a quintessential part of Nigerian identity.

Once again, thank you for your storytelling.
